Governor Parent vacancy,
The Governing Body has one parent vacancy. This is an important voluntary role in school and does require commitment and time to help move the school forward. The role involves attending at least 6 governors meetings a year, spending time in school and meeting with different staff.
As part of this process, you must be willing to undertake an enhanced DBS and a Section 128 clearance check. You will also have to provide proof of identification and address for example, a driving license, passport etc.
If you think that this is something that you would be interested in, then the Governors ask that you provide a statement about why you would like to become a governor at Moorlands Primary School and what skills you could bring to the Governing Body.
If you would like further information about this role please contact: email@example.com
If there are many applications for the role of parent governor, then parents will be given the chance to vote on which parent they would like to represent them. Could all applications be sent into school by 17 December 2021.
Thank you for your support.
